In this era of citizens of the world wanting to take better care of our planet Earth, many small grassroots groups are forming all over the world. Many Tri Citizens are involved in the energy field because of the Hanford project, and many other environmental businesses have grown quickly in our Tri Cities region. We are a friendly “green” community!
The Alternative Energy Users Group holds meetings locally and folks interested in the movement can meet Wednesdays at the CBC Health Science Center, room 242, located at 891 Northgate in Richland. Meetings run from 6:30 – 9 p.m. To learn more about this organization, visit their website at:
