The annual WinterFest starts at 10 a.m. December 13th on the main street in Benton City. Festivities include a colorfully lit parade of floats, which start at 5 pm and runs through the main drag in town followed by the three lighting ceremony.
Other activities include games for adults and kids, pedestal jousting, a one-on-one bungee basketball tournament, arts and crafts booths, an ornament contest, a gingerbread house competition, musical entertainment and food booths.
Most activities will take place at Kiona-Benton Middle School between10 am and 4 pm. WinterFest is sponsored by the Benton City Chamber of Commerce and Benton City Lions Club. For more information, call Heather at 588-6959.
